LICENSED MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPIST

Often people come in with relationship issues and are just not sure where to begin. They feel they have tried everything and it isn’t working.

I listen closely to their stories, offer empathy for their experiences, and begin to offer them ways of doing things different in slight ways at first. It is a small step method so they can grow comfortable with it and see how well it works.

If they are committed and are practicing, no matter the issue in the relationship, things will improve. They do not always get the result they are looking for but things get much clearer and it is easier for them to see what solution they really want.

Rob seeks to give clients the opportunity to be heard without judgment. In listening and attending to the clients he seeks a secure and trusted relationship with his clients. He mentors what he teaches in communication and listening using a combination of story and interaction during the sessions.

He has a deep respect for your religion, spirituality, or none of the above, as well as your sexuality and its expression. These are very personal subjects not discussed or worked through enough in therapy and he does not shy away from them.

Rob’s primary goal is to work towards a healthy, balanced and joyful life for his clients.
